Peter.
Wittenberg, currently an associate technical fellow with Boeing in Saint Louis, has been
working in radar since 1978.
He started in 1978 at Hughes Aircraft Company (now Raytheon) at the Radar Systems Group. Starting on the F-14 program, he helped develop the AWG-9 and APG-71 radars, with a specialty of single target track. After moving to the Advanced Programs Division in 1983, he led a group working on a wide variety of projects, including the APG-65 and APG-73 for the F-18 aircraft, the APG-63 and APG-70 radars for the F-15 aircraft, and several other radars and proposal efforts for airborne radars, as well as research and development efforts.
Peter joined McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) in 1989 to work on a variety of radar integration projects. At Boeing Peter worked on a variety of projects, consulting in radar for many of the Boeing projects that use radars. Peter's experience at Boeing now includes integration of radars to a variety of airborne platforms, as well as research and development.
Peter has been teaching radar at his companies since 1985.
